We'll see. LSU-Shreveport's Strength of Schedule (#54 as of today) is the lowest of the top seven teams except for Oklahoma City (#68).
(Once you get below the top seven, Point Park is #123, Spring Arbor is #80, and Tennessee Wesleyan is #39.)
The toughest opponent the Pilots have left appears to be Centenary, which has dropped from D-I to D-III. Other than them, it's Texas Wesleyan April 20-21.
The Red River Schedule can be a little unkind to the SoS. I guess that's why they went to Belhaven and played those ranked teams early on. The rest of the schedule is decent. At Southern Arkansas tonight, UT Brownsville, TWU, at William Carey, and Centenary. Those games won't hurt the SoS like as playing SAGU and HT does. Great accomplishment for the program. First ever number 1 ranking. But, nobody cares who was number one in early April. Hope they can finish.
