I've noticed how his belly is creeping up on him. When he started his show, he looked fairly healthy. As time goes on, he's looking more and more like me. Multiple chins, gut-a-hanging, clothes gettin tight. Not that I meant that YOU matched that description.... Not at all.....

The guys got a sweet gig, you have to admit. But he needs to make sure he doesn't let his job kill him.
What we see on TV is only a small snippet of his life. He can't be making the best decisions in his personal life if he's ballooning up like he is.

Found the perfect sushi the other day. Wife and kids were after me to try it over the holidays and I finally gave in. While reading the menu I found the one for me and it was delicious.
Salmon and crab wrapped in strips of ribeye, all cooked to perfection.

A meat lovers delight with a hint of seafood.
If it's cooked, it aint Sushi. If it Sushi, it's bait. su·shi (ssh) n. 1. a. Food or other lure placed on a hook or in a trap and used in the taking of fish, birds, or other animals. b. Something, such as a worm, used for this purpose. 2. An enticement; a temptation. 3. Archaic A stop for food or rest during a trip.

Agreed oh wise one. That's why I was delighted to find cooked fish and crab wrapped in a ribeye steak! That's as close to bait as you will find me eating.
That's funny. Same thing happened to me at XMas. My parents always get a cow butchered and split it up among my brother, sister and I. When I got back from their place after XMas the wife and I had week of hamburger helper, steak and leftover freezer stuff to eat really quick or else it'd go to waste.
It also marked the first time I made myself steak and eggs on a Sunday morning!

OK so why is the food thread in the HAAC message board? Sure the majority posting are HAAC guys but.......aw whatever. There is no social justice here.
I always thought it was a good way to get these guys out into the real world where they could see how the rest of the world behaves. Kinda open some horizons for them if you know what I mean.

Shame on you Halo- Food only on this thread....
Got completely stuffed last night on Heavenly ham, Mashed taters and..... Rigatoni and Meatballs. Being married to an Itialian gets you pasta and sauce at every family holiday outing without exception. Granted, the sauce is dam good, but on Easter, I'm more of a lamb eater. Oh well, I still got the usual fat swollen belly and a monster case of heartburn. Thank goodness for Omeprazole.

Sorry tbone, MMMM we'll be eating leftovers for a week. We had the ham, mashed potatoes and ham gravy, candied yams, potato salad, green bean caserole, cauliflower with cheese sauce, green salad, a veggie platter, deviled eggs, jello, and fresh baked bread. It was nice to get the whole family together and the weather was beautiful at 65. Almost unheard of up here at this time of year. Does any one have any good recipes for lamb with mint jelly? I got a taste for it a few years ago and want to share.

Great story! They don't take much anything as serious as they do their sauce! Did they have an extra stove / oven in the basement? That's the way you tell an Itilain cook's house in Ohio- they all have two kitchens.
My first Thanksgiving with my wife's family while we were still dating was at her grandma's. She too spoke very little english. They had turkey and dressing and potatoes, but the highlight was the rigatoni and sauce. I had the only plate that was loaded with turkey and trimmings, and just a small spoonfull of rigatoni. Everyone else had heaping plates of the pasta, and the turkey and fixin's was like a side dish. I didn't hear any silverware drop, but they were all lookin at me out of the corner of their eye wondering where the heck she found me.
This Friday at the VSN Senior Classic the players will be fed bbq by Greg Beachner. Greg is the father of a former NAIA QB and employee of mine named Bret. He does BBQ competitions on the side and has a complete kitchen in his shed. He is the man all of us want to be
To this day, I haven't had better bbq than his bbq. I just talked to him this morning and he told me all the smoking and different things he did with the meat . . . I've been hungry ever since.
