Well deserved, and the right guy to take APU to D2.

Bill Odell has left indelible mark on Azusa Pacific athletics. He has done an amazing job bringing APU to the forefront of the NAIA in all sports and will be missed.

Gary Pine has contributed so much to APU athletics already and is the perfect man to take over. With Gary at the helm, we should expect great things in the future for the Cougars.

Not sure if you're serious or not. Hard to tell without smilies ;)

APU will apply for NCAA DII membership this summer. In the meantime, they will join the NCCAA. The thought there is it would give the teams an opportunity for post-season play during the transition.

Sad to see the Odell era come to a complete end.

APU has won 22 NAIA championships and 6 consecutive Directors' Cups during Odell's 15 year run as athletic director.

But here's to Gary Pine leading APU into the next generation!
