No. 10 seed Biola is taking on Cambellsville
Cam is 21-11 on the season and was given the 12th at large spot into the tournament. CU is 5-6 against tournament teams, with their best wins coming over Georgetown (Ky.) and Mountain State however they do have bad losses against UVA-wise (1107 massey) and Shawnee (1079). They have a highly ranked defense and avg offense. They have however lost 3 of their last 4 and lacking in momentum.
BU is 25-8 on the season and recieved the GSAC tournament automtic birth. BU is 5-1 against tournament teams with their best wins coming over Concordia x3 and Point Loma x2, but they too lost to 1000+ massey teams against Victoria and Holy Names. BU has a highly ranked defense (massey 3) and a statistically average offense. Biola comes in having won eight in a row and thirteen of their last 14. Biola's leading scorer is Chase Adams at 13 a game, but any of 5 players that average around 11-12 ppg could go off for 20+.
Expect a slow, methodical game, with both teams believing that their defense can stop the others offense. Tournaments are all about momentrum when two teams look fairly evenly matched, look for Biola to win in something like a 63-55 game.
PLNU and Concordia to come

Just reviewed the National Tournament bracket. A few thoughts come to mind:
1. Call me crazy, but how does BIOLA (25-8) get a #10 seed and CUI (26-7) a #4 after what just transpired? Is it simply because they don't want to have two conference opponents in the same early bracket? That said, I realize it doesn't really matter. Teams have to win and beat good teams no matter what. At this point, I'm behind all three. GO SEAGLEIONS!
2. APU got bumped. When is the last time the GSAC had only 3 teams go? So, I gotta ask the question, did the fact of APU leaving the NAIA make it easier to bump them?
3. 25 of the 32 teams have never won a national championship.
4. 2011 Champion Pikeville did not make it
Kinda interesting tidbit: Hope beat Cal Baptist last night in a NCCAA regional game.

I know that you are doing your best to gather information and write up some stuff, but Campbellsville no longer has Harris on there team. He has been gone from the team since about the 6 game of the season, if not sooner. Just thought I would share that information, he will not be a factor in this game

There is a rule that says conference mates should be in separate brackets if at all possible.
Go Hope!
I understand it's harder to do that when you get 5 teams in but how is it even possible that JBU and OC could meet in round 2..I feel like the committee would at the very least wait till the quarters for a match-up like that too happen
