The GLVC had added Urbana and Central State as associate members for football only, but now they are forming a new conference, the Great Midwest, and taking Kentucky Wesleyan along with them. Also joining are former NAIA schools Cedarville, Ursuline, and Notre Dame.
So now you have 2 distinct conferences, each without football, heading different directions and each with their own interests. No doubt most of the schools will still be playing each other in football tho. Just no conference I guess.

Come on AD wanna be, do the math, you will need both hands for this so consider it Calculus II. It takes 6 teams to be an official NCAA conference. The GLVC has 9 for football in 2012. The new conference, if it happens, will not play until 2013, even if all 3 go there are still 6 full time FB members in the GLVC. Worry about your own school keeping it's doors open and paying your inflated salary instead of chasing your hate.

Weak attempt at trolling, classic fail.
Well, the new conference may just try to get some more members, and some of the little misfit toys from your new island may want to join, rather than bucking up and starting to actually compete. Afterall, your new conference seems to be a race to the bottom. And that will be all you win while you're in it...

Speaking of race to the bottom. How is your new job working out?

Yeah, Jewell's conference looks like it's going to be a total cluster of bottom feeders, and one with a revolving door at that. Jewell better hope Quincy doesn't get better or there won't be a d2 team for hundreds of miles that they can beat. Unless they want to start a rivalry with Lincoln lol. They're going to have some long bus rides, and some even longer rides home from now until forever.

Sean Shelton is still the Jewell QB? Wish he was at MNU, then maybe we would win a championship and get our stadium back after it was condemned. I'm so jealous of WJC and wish MNU could go to the NCAA, but with all MNU's problems it will never happen, we will probably have to close our doors in 3 years.
