I found it amusing that JBU only dropped two spots to #6 after getting thoroughly outplayed in Plainview against Wayland Baptist and is ahead of a team in Pikeville that has one less loss. I guess that goes to show what the raters think of the Sooner Conference compared to others.
It also shows what they think of the HAAC (as if we didn't know). Evangel goes 2-0 last week and goes from #19 to #21. They've won three straight, 8 of their last 9 with the only only loss in that run at MidAmerica Nazarene (also ranked). They are one spot behind Rogers St., who they beat on a neutral floor 72-59 and (if we're going by record) has one more loss than EU does.

I don't think they're anti HAAC, I think they are seeing those 6 MNU losses and thinking 17 is high enough. And of course Evangel has to be lower than that because of the conference rankings.

That argument is valid. I can't help and laugh at how some unlucky team is going to draw a healthy MNU team in the first round. Syrie will be back this weekend after being out since November. Dowd had surgery in December, and missed the Hawaii tourney. Had they been healthy all season long, there is no doubt in my mind MNU would be 20-1 and currently undefeated in the HAAC.
But Harry... both HAAC teams have more than 5 losses. I think they're getting plenty of respect. I'm much more puzzled by the MNU women being ranked 10th. Now that's some disrespect. You saw them with your own eyes, and you can probably agree there not 9 women's teams in the NAIA better than them.

Problem is, not enough raters have seen them with their own eyes.
No worries, though. The Lady Pioneers will let their walk do the talking when it matters most.
Tough game coming up at CMU first, though. Should be interesting. They are better now than when they lost to CMU at CC earlier in the season. They travel to Atchison a week later. They probably win the conference regular season outright if they win those two games.
