POY - 3 man race
Miller - NWC ( Does everything for Conf Champs)
Rudeen - MC ( Conference scoring leader)
Parrot - Midland ( if this kid played hard for 40 minutes he would have won the award)

Winner will be Miller - should have won it last year as well

Rest of the best
Voss - DWC (beast)
Shipley - BC (scorer)
Reed - Doane (scorer)
Samuels - Doane (maybe Doane's most valuable)
Miller - MC (D's up and leads conf in steals and assists again)
Warner - Dordt (scorer)
Lollman - Hastings
Wolterstorf - Dordt

James Parrott seemed to have two really productive outings against your "Stangs." How many minutes did he play hard in those games? Just curious.

MidlandPound, you miss my point. I am a big fan.. I think he is a great player but he coasts and only plays hard in spurts. Based on how often Eisner is chewing on him I bet his coach agrees but good for you sticking up for him. Again, it is not my intent to hurt your feelings just stating my opinion.

1st Team:
Miller NWC, best player on the best team, leads them in most categories
Voss DWU, Double Double Guy
Parrot MID, scary athletic can flat score
Warner Dordt, always seems to make the big shot
Shipply B.C, another guy who can flat score
Lollman HAS, a really good combo guard,
Reed Doane, can score from anywhere
Wolterstorff Dordt, always ends up with 12-18 points
Rudeen Mside, 20 a game
Van Kalsbeek NWC has not started a game but still gets 14 and 5.

2nd Team:
Leeper, NWC very skilled dangerous from 3
Miller Mside, solid point guard,
Samuals Doane, can get his shot whenever he wants
Dane Bacon HAS, can flat shoot it
Vogal and Lindbergh Dordt, match up nightmare unless your NWC
Beranek Doane, has faded some in February, will only get better
Ben Imig MID, does just what Eisner wants takes care of the ball, very steady
Murren B.C, makes big shots
Stephenson DWU, I like the way this kid plays

Player of the Year: Miller NWC not even close.
Defensive Player of the Year: Miller (mside), Parrot (Mid) have good numbers but I'm not sure. Lindburgh won it last year so him maybe.
Freshmen of the Year: Beranek Doane
Coach: Would have been Weeks from Doane easily before February, now I'm not sure.

1st Team:
Miller NWC POY
Samuals Doane (scoring machine)
Miller Mside (true PG)
Parrott MID, (see Samuals comments)
Warner Dordt (high BB IQ, always hits the big shot)
Wolterstorff Dordt (most consistent GPAC player for 4 years running)
Shipply BCU (great scorer, down from last year though)
Lollman HAS (big games against Dordt both times)
Reed Doane (feel like I'm watching a Celtic from the 60-70's, always gets himself sqaured up)
Rudeen Mside (would have been in the cellar w/o him)

2nd Team:
Voss DWU (premier post, but looked mediocre against Dordt both times)
Vogel Dordt,
Lindbergh Dordt
Beranek Doane
Ben Imig MID
Murren BCU
Stephenson DWU, (always gets his shot off)
Van Kalsbeek NWC
Birtell, Conc (struggled this year, but gotta include him)
Hieb, Mt Marty (beat NWC & Dordt almost by himself)

Player of the Year: Miller NWC .
Defensive Player of the Year: Lindbergh (saw him hold Rudeen, Shipley, & Reed to single digits)
Freshmen of the Year: Beranek Doane
Coach: Eisner, Midland (no clear cut favorite, but he got a lot out of his guys)
