Below, each conference is listed with their current W-L record, followed by if they have won a game by a team of theirs that was unseeded (WU), or lost a game by a team of theirs that was seeded, (LS). Finally, I give the Bender Score (no abbreviation this time), which gives 1 point for a seeded win, 2 points for an unseeded win, 0 points for an unseeded loss, and -1 points for a seeded loss.
Can't wait to see this updated. Wasn't there some discussion a while back where Mike asked if maybe the GSAC and the SAC weren't as good as they used to be?? And was quickly shot down and told no way, no how. Funny how that's worked out....
Just sitting here and watching the NAIA National Tournament I can say that they missed out on a couple of Mid-South Teams that would had made some noise in this year tourney, the top five teams all beat each other, and it's sad that only three teams made it out of the toughest conference in the nation!!!

You can't have four teams as long as the SAC and GSAC are the greatest basketball conferences ever

Mike, I think it's about time you give it a rest. Yes, we in the SAC are proud of our tradition in Kansas City and the consistent strength of the conference. However, we are never belligerent and your posts are not only obnoxious but nauseating. Not a single OCU, USAO, JBU or OBU fan comes on here spouting off, but instead, shows grace in defeat. Why don't you do us all a favor and show some class? Perhaps this is a small drop in the bucket as to why the RRAC has the reputation that it does.
Watching these games the past few days. It left me with the impression if the teams played against each other on any other given day, about 33% of the winners would be different. We haven't been seeing too many true dominant blow outs this year, where a handful of teams are head and shoulders above the rest. There seemed to be a bit more parity this year.
Do I think a couple more Midsouth teams could do damage? Sure, Campbellsville was the team who's bubble burst. Would have their first game? Maybe. It's not like the raters and seeding committee had in for Midsouth. They did get three teams seeded in the first 16 spots. Which was as much as the GSAC and Sooner combined.
It is tough job rating teams from conferences who don't have too much play between them. Massey has a good as ratings as I have seen. Campbellsville and Shawnee State were good teams that ultimately would have had to win the conference tournament to get in a 32 team field.
Good luck to the four teams left in tourney. They have battled and won. Congrats to them.

Let's not forget that the last GSAC, Sooner and Frontier teams all played their ways into the tournament. They weren't "given" anything. Campbellsville would have had to do the same thing, but didn't.
